Medical assistance at the camp is covered by means of private insurance arranged by the Royal Spanish Football Federation which covers all participants.
Participants in the FC Barcelona camp will be covered by accident insurance. As well as this there will be a physiotherapy service who will attend to the children if they have an accident. If you have taken out private medical insurance for your child, they should bring a photocopy of the relevant documentation.
Staff will evaluate the child’s condition and if necessary they will be taken to a medical centre or hospital. The camp will contact you as soon as possible.
The camp has a medical service based in the grounds of Manchester City who will give first aid to the child. If the injury or illness is considered to be more serious he or she will be taken to the nearest hospital or clinic and parents will be contacted immediately.
The price includes insurance which covers medical costs, accidents, public liability and baggage loss. Information about insurance cover will be sent together with the final information about the programme before your child departs for the camp.
